XL Tarpaulins

These side covers are tested by an externally accredited laboratory and approved according to UNE-EN 12641-2: 2006 XL regulations for different categories of reinforced HGV trailers. This safety in transit regulation, is essential for hauliers who load and offload in Germany, Belgium and Holland. TGM hands over a certificate of approval for each of its tarpaulins which are marked on either side with a label to certify regulatory compliance.

DESCRIPTION

The canvas is made to measure using high-frequency welding with high-tensile polyester (900 gms/m2), coated in polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and lacquered on both sides. The following fixing elements are included as part of the set:

A grooved rail, riveted or welded to the canvas which slides open or shut, with the option of either a two or four wheel runner.
Externally secured by a system of tensors, comprising of steel buckles and 50 mm polypropylene tightening straps with flat stainless steel hooks.
Flat stainless steel hooks that work as fixing elements for the tightening strap system.

Each side has a durable, legible, indelible label directly affixed, bearing the following information: Name of the manufacturer, number of the European standard (EN 12641-2), lowest permissible temperature (-25ºC), year and month of manufacture, TGM's serial number. The canvas can be carry signage or be digitally printed with solvent or eco-solvent inks. Afeter sales care.
